The Strokes - Room on Fire

.....Because I was in a rush, to review this album I only listened to the first 5 seconds of each song on this album, I really enjoyed it as an art piece. The anticipation. I always found myself asking: will there be a song this time? There never was, apart from the first track. Honestly? Whatever happened? People always say that first impressions are important and the Strokes really failed on this one, if the first 5 seconds of a song cant get me hooked what is even the point? The only full song I had the chance to listen to was the first one, coincidentally the one that actually started. I must say, the lyrics come off as really rude. This indie band from New York gets a huge wave of popularity and the first thing they say is: I want to be forgotten. Seems really ungrateful to be honest with you.
